Susana Villasuso
Mexican-born and London-based chef Susana Villasuso runs an Instagram page (@holasus) and a blog (Life Limon y Sal), where she showcases simple, authentic Mexican food that is delicious and easy to make at home.
Susana grew up learning to cook from both her mother and grandmother. She is a trusted name in Mexican cuisine: Mexican food specialists Mexgrocer, True Masa, Cool Chile, Agua de Madre, and Gran Luchito have all worked with Villasuso to develop authentic recipes and food content for their platforms. She blends modern and authentic Mexican recipes, using easily available supermarket ingredients in her first cookbook, Sobremesa, which was released in 2024 on Vintage. She lives in London.
