Our submissions are currently closed due to the volume we are receiving.

For fiction, we will require a covering letter, a synopsis, and 50 pages (or nearest to 50 where there is a natural break) in Word format. Please do not post submissions.

For non-fiction, we will require a covering letter, an introduction to the project, a basic chapter breakdown and a sample chapter. Ideally in Word format, but we will accept PDF where highly illustrated.

The submissions inbox is currently not being checked.

We will be especially keen to read romcoms or anything with interesting relationship dynamics, be it about friendships, families, colleagues or romantic, tales set in cities or unusual places, even or especially if they seem outwardly mundane, memoir that elicits a strong emotional response and shines a light on the familiar in new ways, nature and pop culture writing that captures the zeitgeist but has timeless weight and resonance, and the occasional dabble with beautifully designed illustrated books, such as graphic novels, cookery, photo or gift books.

If it’s helpful to know, we don’t usually consider: straight up poetry collections, anything rather fantastical or unmoored from reality, period/historical unless the voice feels fresh (1920s is about as early as we like!) and while we do love a good page-turner, and when our authors want to write YA, there are much more expert agents for those genres than us.
