Kirk Lake

Kirk Lake's novel Mickey The Mimic was described as "British noir at its best" in the Mail On Sunday's Books of the Year 2013. He also wrote a biography of Rufus Wainwright (Orion UK/ Harper Collins/ It Books USA 2009). He has written and/or appeared in numerous films including Piercing Brightness (2012), 20,000 Days on Earth (2014), The Dali and The Cooper (2017) and The World We Knew (2018). He was recently commissioned by Nick Cave to write the liner notes for the Bad Seeds anthology Lovely Creatures (2017) and The Last Night of the Leamington Licker published by Rough Trade Books in their first pamphlet run in 2018.
