Matilda Tristram

Matilda Tristram is a children’s TV writer, author and illustrator.  She is on the writing team for Peppa Pig, and has writing credits on numerous other children’s television shows. She is the author of a graphic novel, Probably Nothing (Penguin 2014), about getting cancer when she was pregnant with her first son (spoiler: they are both fine). She also writes children’s books and drawing guides; My Year in Small Drawings (Quarto 2017) and Phone Book (Cicada 2018), My Day in Small Drawings (Quarto 2021). Her comic strips have featured in the Guardian, Vice, Glamour and Art Review. Matilda teaches animation and writing at Kingston University and the Royal College of Art.
