Udayan Mukherjee

Udayan Mukherjee was born in Calcutta and is based in Mumbai. For two decades, he was the face of the Indian financial markets, as anchor and Managing Editor of CNBC. He is the author of the novel Dark Circles, published by Bloomsbury, and the crime novel A Death in the Himalayas (Picador 2019). His short story collection Essential Items, set during the pandemic, was published by Bloomsbury India in 2020 to critical acclaim.
